Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Tackd collects, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices customers have.

Trust posture
Beta-ready, not SOC 2 certified yet

Need a real agreement?

Treat these as product-ready drafts. Privacy, terms, and DPA language should still get legal review before paid customer use.

Tackd is a sales intelligence product. Do not submit regulated health information, payment card data, government identifiers, or other highly sensitive data unless a separate written agreement says Tackd supports that use case.

Information We Collect

Account information

Name, email address, profile details, Google sign-in metadata, workspace membership, role, billing status, and support messages.

Workspace content

Prospect names, notes, MEDDIC fields, generated briefs, decks, proposals, CRM links, uploaded PowerPoint files, and related workflow activity.

Usage and security data

Login events, audit events, rate-limit events, generation usage, app errors, device/browser data, and IP-derived security signals.

How We Use Information

  • Provide the Tackd app, including MEDDIC tracking and generated artifacts.
  • Authenticate users, manage workspaces, roles, invitations, and billing.
  • Run AI-assisted features using customer-provided notes and prospect context.
  • Sync customer-authorized data with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Secure the service, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability.
  • Send operational emails such as team invitations, support replies, and billing notices.

AI Processing

Tackd sends relevant prompts, prospect context, notes, and artifacts to an AI provider so the app can generate research briefs, MEDDIC updates, decks, proposals, and PowerPoint edits. Tackd does not train foundation models itself. Customers should review AI outputs before sending them externally or syncing them to a CRM.

When We Share Information

Tackd shares information with service providers that help operate the product, such as hosting, database, AI generation, billing, background jobs, email delivery, authentication, and customer-enabled CRM integrations. These providers are listed on the subprocessors page.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the security of Tackd or customers, or with the customer's direction.

Retention and Deletion

Tackd keeps account and workspace content while the workspace is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backup, audit, billing, and legal purposes. Customers can request deletion, export, or CRM connection removal by contacting support.

Your Choices

  • Update profile and company details inside the app.
  • Disconnect Salesforce or other integrations from the integrations page.
  • Use Stripe customer portal tools for billing updates when enabled.
  • Contact privacy@tackd.ai to request access, deletion, correction, or export.
